7Fabs Terms of Use

1. Who this applies to

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the 7Fabs website, the 7Fabs customer portal, and any related online services (together, the "Services") operated by 7Fabs ("7Fabs," "we," "us," or "our"), a fabrication, 3D printing, and CAD/design services business operating in Florida. By browsing the website, creating a portal account, submitting a quote request, or uploading a file, you ("you" or "Customer") agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. What 7Fabs does

7Fabs provides custom fabrication services including but not limited to 3D printing (FDM/SLA/SLS and similar processes), CAD design and modeling, prototyping, laser/CNC cutting, and related design-to-part services. Services are quoted individually per project; nothing on the website or portal is an offer to contract until a written quote is issued and accepted under the Quote Terms & Conditions.

3. Accounts and the customer portal

The customer portal may require an account or a magic-link/authenticated session tied to your email address. You are responsible for safeguarding your portal access and for all activity under your account or session. Notify 7Fabs promptly of any suspected unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) upload files you do not have the legal right to share or that infringe a third party's intellectual property; (b) use the Services to design, request, or manufacture parts that are illegal to produce or possess (including but not limited to items regulated under federal firearms, export control, or controlled-substance-related manufacturing laws) or that would require 7Fabs to violate applicable law; (c) attempt to interfere with, probe, or disrupt the website, portal, or underlying systems; (d) misrepresent your identity or authority to submit a project on behalf of another person or company.

5. File uploads

Files you upload through the website or portal (CAD files, STL/STEP/DXF files, images, sketches, reference photos) are handled under the separate File Upload / Customer-Supplied File Terms, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. Quotes, payments, and project terms

Quotes, deposits, and final payments (processed via Stripe) are governed by the Quote Terms & Conditions and the Payment/Refund/Cancellation Policy. Prototype and appearance expectations are governed by the Prototype Tolerance/Appearance Disclaimer.

7. Intellectual property

Ownership of designs, uploaded files, and finished parts is governed by the IP & Customer Design Ownership template. The 7Fabs name, logo, website content, and portal software remain the property of 7Fabs and may not be copied or reused without permission.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES AND WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY FLORIDA AND FEDERAL LAW. 7Fabs does not warrant that the website or portal will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

10. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not resolved informally shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Details pending professional review., Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

11. SMS messaging

Customer SMS enrollment and sending remain disabled until carrier approval and the approval-gated messaging workflow are active. If enrollment becomes available, a customer must affirmatively select an unchecked consent control before receiving operational texts about a quote, project, appointment, pickup or shipping, or service support. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. 12. Changes to these Terms

7Fabs may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new controlled version per legal/README.md. Continued use of the Services after a new version takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
